One advantage when it comes to replacing handles and knobs is that it can change the look of the door almost immediately without having to go through the hassle of replacing or redoing the panels. Just simply attach them and viola those doors will look instantly better.


The doors of the cabinets may not have to have locks, but one still needs the knobs or handles for everyday use. At times depending on their condition, doing something simple as replacing the knobs on those cabinets is a quick, cheap and easy way to make them look a lot nicer. Other wise your other option may be to dismantle them and re-finish the panels which can be a hassle and not to mention expensive.


There are even high security handles that come with fingerprint recognition and number pads that can cost a lot. These high tech handles even come with attractive designs and colors so that they don't end up making you door look like a bank vault.
